This website uses cookies to better the user experience. All users are given the option to allow or disallow the use of cookies from their computer/devices.  Cookies are small files saved to the user’s computers hard drive that track, save and store information about the user’s interactions and usage of the website. This allows the website, through its server to provide the users with a tailored experience within this website.

Data Protection
Throughout all stages of your booking ‘Capture The Moment’ holds sensitive information regarding its clients. 



Any information provided during the ‘enquiry’ stage will be stored for 30 days while follow-up messages and booking fees are being made. After this time if the lead does not result in a booking this informations will be removed from all systems. 



Upon booking with ‘Capture The Moment’ only information relevant to your event will be stored solely for the purpose of fulfilling your booking. We try and keep all information we hold on you accurate and up to date so please ensure you contact us as soon as possible with any change of information.



At no stage will any information we hold on you be sold to a third party.  



Data Storage


All personal date including photographs will be stored on GDPR compliant systems which at present including Tave, Webflow, DropBox, Pixieset, calendars and Googledrive. Any hard copies of information held will be stored securely at an alarmed location under lock and key to ensure data privacy.



For accountancy purposes 7 years of accounts must be held on file. After such a time all personal information will be deleted. Signed permissions forms/contracts will be kept indefinitely. A time scale of 1 year is allotted for the completion of all wedding albums after which time we are not obliged to store images or complete albums. However if permission has been given for images to be used for advertising purposes etc said images may still exist on social media sites and select images may be retained for advertising purposes indefinitely.

Contact & Communication

Every effort has been made to ensure a safe and secure email submission form however clients contacting this website and or its owners do so at their own discretion and provide any such personal details requested at their own risk. Your personal information is  kept private and stored securely until a time it is no longer required or has no use, as detailed in the Data Protection Act 1998.

This website and its owners use any information submitted to provide you with further information about the products/services they offer or to assist you in answering any questions or queries you may have submitted. This includes using your details to subscribe you to any email newsletter program the website operates but only if permission was granted when submitting any forms.



3rd Party Privacy


‘Capture The Moment’ will not pass on or sell your personal information or images to any outside parties. If you wish for you images to be passed along to another company such as your wedding makeup artist for promotional material then permission must be given in writing. Please note that the copyright will still be owned by ‘Capture The Moment’ 



In the interest of fulfilling the role you have hired us for photographs will be taken of your guests at your event. We will make our presence known at the event so all guests are aware that their images are being taken but please let us know in advance if there are any individuals who cannot or do not wish to be photographed and we will do all in our power to avoid them being in any images. All ‘A file’ images will be uploaded to our secure site to which only the client will be given the password. If they then choose to share the password for their images to other people the responsibility cannot be held with ‘Capture The Moment’ for the sharing of said images.  If any images are shared on social media permission will of been obtained from the bride and groom/client in advance and generally said images are restricted to include just the bridal party. 



Your Personal Data


You have a right to request to see the personal data we hold on you. Please just get in touch to do this and allow 30 days for us to gather all the information we hold. Please not that if you are a ‘general wedding/event guest’ Photo ID and description may be request so we can ensure only your information is gathered.
